How to reach your provider
Once your service is live, your provider is the right place to go for support, billing, and service changes.
Where should I find the right contact?
Start with your latest bill. It usually has the support number and account information for your service.
| Where to look | Best for |
|---|---|
| Your bill | Support, billing, and account questions |
| Your account portal | Support tickets, outages, and service updates |
| Your account representative | Contract questions, renewals, or account-specific help |
| Your service agreement | Notice requirements and formal requests |
| Your provider’s website | General support information when you don’t have a bill |
Keep your account information handy
Save your provider’s support number and account number somewhere your team can access them.
You may also want to keep your provider’s account portal information available to the people who manage your service.
What should I have ready?
Having a few details ready can make it easier for your provider to find your account:
- Account number
- Service address
- Circuit or service identifier, if you have one
- Existing ticket number, if you’re following up on an issue
- A callback number
The service address may be different from your billing address, so use the address where the service is installed.
If you don’t know who your provider is
Check your latest bill or payment statement. The provider’s name should appear there along with your account information.
You can also use the provider directory to find provider information.
Provider contact details and support hours can change. Your latest bill or account portal is the best source for current information.
