Service Orders

Canceling your service

You can cancel an order before service is installed. After you sign the provider’s agreement, the provider’s cancellation terms apply.

How do you cancel?

If your service hasn’t been installed, you can start the cancellation from your order page.

  1. Open your order

Sign in and open the order for the service you want to cancel.

  2. Select “How to cancel this service”

You’ll find the cancellation instructions on the order page.

  3. Confirm the cancellation

Follow the prompts to confirm. Nothing changes until you confirm.

When can you cancel?

What happens depends on whether you’ve signed the provider’s agreement.

  • Not signed: You can cancel from the order page. The order won’t move forward.
  • Signed, not installed: The provider’s service agreement determines whether and how you can cancel.
  • Already live: You need to cancel the service with your provider, according to the terms of your agreement.

If your service is already live

Your provider manages the service and holds the service agreement. Contact them to cancel.

Before you give notice, check your agreement for the required notice period and any automatic renewal terms. These can affect when you need to cancel and what you may owe. See evergreen clauses.

What can canceling cost?

Your provider’s service agreement determines the cost of cancellation. It may include an early termination charge or other fees, depending on the terms of the agreement.
