If your address is not found
If your address doesn’t appear in the list, try entering the street address without the suite or unit first. New buildings, multi-tenant properties, and rural addresses may be listed differently than you expect.
Start with the street address
Enter the street number and street name
Leave out the suite, floor, building name, and other details.
Select the matching address
Choose the address from the list. This confirms the location where service will be installed.
Add your suite or unit
Enter your suite, floor, or unit in the separate field if one is provided.
Try a different format
If the address still doesn’t appear, try the full street type instead of an abbreviation, such as Avenue instead of Ave. You can also try removing a directional such as N or SW.
Use the installation address
Enter the address where the service will be installed. This may be different from your head office or billing address.
Quote availability and pricing are based on the service location.
Common address problems
| If you’re… | Try this |
|---|---|
| In a new building | Search for the street address without the suite or building name. |
| In a multi-tenant office | Match the street address first, then enter the suite or unit separately. |
| Using a rural or highway address | Enter the physical installation address. A PO box can’t be used as a service location. |
| Searching for several locations | See more than one location. |
If your address still doesn’t appear
Check the address against a recent utility bill or other document for the building. Pay particular attention to the street number, street name, city, and ZIP code.
If the address has been entered correctly but still doesn’t appear, the location may not yet be listed in the address database. It doesn’t necessarily mean that service isn’t available.
